Fair Housing & Equal Opportunity
Equal Housing Opportunity
Sort, Inc. ("Sort") supports equal housing opportunity and is committed to compliance with the federal Fair Housing Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and all applicable federal, state, and local fair-housing and anti-discrimination laws. We provide our community concierge platform to residents, property managers, and partners on a non-discriminatory basis.
Non-Discrimination
Consistent with the Fair Housing Act, we do not discriminate, and we do not knowingly permit our Platform to be used to discriminate, on the basis of:
- Race or color
- Religion
- National origin
- Sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation)
- Familial status (including children under 18 and pregnant persons)
- Disability
Many state and local laws extend these protections to additional characteristics (for example, age, marital status, source of income, military or veteran status, or citizenship status). We honor the protected classes recognized in the jurisdictions where housing is offered through our Platform.
Advertising & Listings
Content published through our Platform — including property listings, descriptions, photos, and marketing materials supplied by property managers and partners — must comply with fair-housing advertising rules. We prohibit statements or images that indicate a preference, limitation, or discrimination based on a protected class. If you believe a listing or message on our Platform violates these rules, please report it using the contact information below.
Accessibility & Reasonable Accommodations
We are committed to making our Platform usable by people with disabilities. For details on our digital accessibility commitment and how to report a barrier, please see our Accessibility Statement.
If you need a reasonable accommodation or modification to access or use our Platform — for example, an alternative format, assistance completing a form, or another adjustment related to a disability — please contact us and we will work with you in good faith to provide it where reasonable.
