Accessibility Statement
Sort, Inc. ("Sort," "we," "us") is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to our website at sortresidential.com, our mobile applications, and our related digital services (collectively, the "Platform").
Our Commitment & Conformance Target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities. We treat accessibility as an ongoing effort and review our Platform on a recurring basis.
Measures We Take
To support accessibility, we work to:
- Use semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks so assistive technologies can interpret page structure.
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images and icons.
- Offer a "Skip to main content" link and support full keyboard navigation.
- Provide visible keyboard focus indicators.
- Maintain sufficient color contrast for text and interactive elements.
- Label form fields so they can be completed with a screen reader.
- Allow the page to be zoomed and reflowed without loss of content or function.
Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is not a one-time project. We test new features for accessibility, train our team, and prioritize fixes for any barriers that are reported to us. Because our Platform changes frequently, some content may not yet fully meet our target. Where we are aware of limitations, we work to remediate them as quickly as is reasonably practical.
Third-Party Content
Some parts of our Platform may rely on third-party tools or content that we do not control (for example, embedded maps, payment processors, or app-store badges). We encourage these providers to deliver accessible experiences, but we cannot guarantee the accessibility of content we do not produce.
Need Help, or Found a Barrier?
If you have difficulty using any part of our Platform, need information in an alternative format, or want to report an accessibility barrier, please contact us. We welcome your feedback and will make reasonable efforts to provide the information, item, or transaction you seek through an accessible communication method.
