Hey there, thank you for taking the time to look through Sort Residential's website!
Today is March 13th 2026 and I have been working on Sort for almost five years now.
I started Sort as a community engagement platform to help people get to activities, volunteering, and church events during college at the University of Dallas. After hosting three raging parties at the Toyota Music Factory I realized that promoting events wasn't something I wanted to pursue long term and I needed to find a new audience.
I ended up being lost and not sure where Sort was going. I met a property owner who was interested in event registration at his property. I realized that people and myself are no longer connected to our communities, sparking my interest to fully dive into making communities come to life.
Currently I'm fighting to help people who are lonely, isolated, and separated from others because they moved to a new place, want to get more connected, and who are desiring to live a socially healthy life in a way that they aren't left out to dry. Digital entertainment has done terrible things to society causing division, brain rot, and a lack of love for our neighbors. I am trying to help people get back to knowing their neighbors, saying hello, and making sure people feel like they belong where they live.
Sort is a mission that I have sacrificed a lot for in the pursuit that I will make others' lives better. I am convinced that being social is a cure to residents' desire to leave following concession, being unhappy with where they live, and general disconnect from their community. Please find a time for us to connect so that I can hear your two cents about how to make community so much better that your residents will love YOU.
May God bless you and protect you forever,
Sincerely in Christ,
Gabriel Michael Ross
